They are great for time-building and often have mixed fleets of single-engine aircraft and multi-engine aircraft. It's common for them to have rotational schedules which allow location flexibility.

Pipeline Patrol

These companies use aircraft to monitor pipelines, power lines, and other critical infrastructure. They often fly low-level and long distances, which makes for great time-building in a complex flight planning environment. They often accept low time pilots.

Skydiving

Though time-building is often slower than some other options, there are a ton of skydiving operations in the United States. Use this list as a starting place to contact companies and inquire about job opportunities. Some hire pilots directly and others hire contract pilots from nearby operators.
